There are a number of excellent state and local trade assistance programs in our region to help you develop export sales.

The International Trade Office of Iowa’s Economic Development Authority offers Iowa-based companies valuable export services to amplify their trade opportunities in international markets. Services include trade counseling and education, business contact facilitation, trade leads and more. In addition, their Market Trade Assistance Program offers financial assistance to help Arizona businesses go global.


The Iowa Department of Agriculture & Land Stewardship is a member of the Western US Trade Association. This association offers Iowa agricultural and food companies programs designed to help them learn, connect, and compete globally. You can contact them to discuss how to maximize your opportunities to compete successfully in the global marketplace.


The SBDC International Trade Program has advisors with expertise in exporting and global business. They use their real-life business ownership and management experience to help Companies grow their export businesses, through a variety of professional services.


International Traders of Iowa provides a way for those working in the international business industry to connect and network on a regular basis. It offers dinner meetings, educational seminars with guest speakers, facility tours, and other events for members.


ISU Center for Industrial Research and Service  offers CIRAS export growth services, including ExporTech, yo help Iowa companies develop a strategic business plan to significantly increase international sales.
