Urszula Wojciechowska, MBE, has served on the NADEC Board for over six years, is the immediate past NADEC Communications Officer and past Northeast Representative. She continues to sit on the NADEC Board as the DEC Liaison to the Executive Committee. 

Urszula is an experienced executive with over twenty-five years professional activity in leadership and management, event and strategic planning, marketing, business development and project management in national and international arenas.

Urszula is a proactive member of the international business community where her focus is to facilitate transatlantic trade and assist companies in their export and import endeavors. She serves as the Executive Director of the British American Business Council of New England which is part of the BAB network of 20 chapters in the US and the UK. She is the Founder of the Global Business Alliance of NE and the Co-Founder of Women in World Trade, NE. Urszula also sits on the Board of the National Association of District Export Councils, where she is the Executive Committee Liaison to the 62 chapters in the network.

Urszula was appointed a Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in the 2016 Queen Elizabeth 11 New Year Honors List, “for services to British, American and international communities in North America and the United Kingdom”.

Gil Breiman is actively involved with the innovation ecosystem, representing investors and entrepreneurs launching, growing, and exiting innovative businesses in a broad spectrum of high technology and life sciences fields. He regularly advises clients on international expansion in establishing and expanding overseas business.

Gil represents entrepreneurs, corporations, and investors in all phases of the business cycle, from incorporation to financing (angel, strategic, non-dilutive, venture capital, private equity) to business development and growth, and mergers and acquisitions (“M&A”). Gil has been involved in funds formation and various investment vehicles. Gil has represented numerous companies and individuals from various countries in cross-border transactions, M&A, sales channel setups, and operations. His clients appreciate personal, responsive, and business-oriented advice, problem-solving abilities, and practical solutions to help them achieve their goals and grow their businesses.

Gil represents groups that finance and acquire commercial real estate buildings and related assets. Those financings involve various complex international and U.S. structuring and financing matters. He also represents and advises sellers and buyers of medical practices, helping medical professionals in business transitions, expansions, and ongoing business matters. Gil has extensive experience representing companies and individuals engaging in business between the United States and Israel and has represented government agencies in America.

Gil has been quoted and published articles in several publications and invited to speak at venture capital and emerging company conferences and academic settings on issues pertaining to entrepreneurship, investments, and international business.

Wendy MacKenzie Pease is the owner and President of Rapport International, a Boston-based translation and interpretation services company specializing in global marketing, medical, government, legal, and pharmaceutical/biotech translations. Throughout her career, she has worked with hundreds of companies to help them communicate across more than 200 languages and cultures.

Wendy is a creative entrepreneur with an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College and a BA in Foreign Service & International Politics from Penn State. Her expertise in international relations comes from working in several international and global marketing roles and years living abroad.

A frequent speaker, writer, trainer, advisor, and avid world traveler, she is the author of The Language of Global Marketing and hosts The Global Marketing Show podcast, where experts share their life-changing experiences and real-world advice for managing the opportunities and challenges of global business.

Wendy is a board member of the Boston chapter of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO Boston) and the Greater Boston Convention & Visitors Bureau, co-moderator of the Soft Land Partners’ Northeast chapter, and a graduate of the Goldman Sachs 10KSB program at Babson College.

Mr. Jim Paul is Director of the U.S. Commercial Service, a division of the U.S. Department of Commerce, office in Boston.  Mr. Paul currently uses his educational background and more than 25 years of work experience in international trade to assist U.S. exporters in penetrating markets overseas.  

Prior to this position, Mr. Paul most recently served as an International Trade Manager for the World Trade Center Association in Los Angeles, California.  Before assuming those duties, Mr. Paul performed international freight forwarding and customs brokerage for Fritz Companies.   Previously, Mr. Paul coordinated the global marketing, sales and logistics for an export/import firm.  During his graduate studies, Mr. Paul completed an internship with the Foreign Commercial Service at the U.S. Embassy in Brussels, Belgium.  

Mr. Paul graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Art’s degree in Political Economy of Industrial Societies from the University of California, Berkeley.  He later received a Master of Business Administration in International Management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management.  Mr. Paul also earned an Executive Certificate in Management and Leadership from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
